• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

To be blunt, Terry, it's much better than Greester. Listen to other people. The outline has little to no variety in colours. Also, in some places it is very thick - outlines on Pokémon sprites are always one pixel thick, no exceptions. Also, the shading doesn't go with its shape at all. And...

No, terry. Even if it is a scratch, and took a long time, it doesn't make it good. And as for the lighting, in Pokémon the light source is always from the top-left, not the front, not the right, but the top-left. No exceptions.

Just because it took a long time doesn't automatically make it good. As people have said, the lighting is very odd, and it doesn't really look like a Pokémon

Terry, no offence, but you've asked for what, four trainers now? Do you not think that's a bit much?

'Twas Antlerlope, but it's your choice.

I thought maybe something like Antlerlope, but that doesn't seem very Pokémon-ish.

There already is a Unown-themed font, I believe. I have it somewhere... Out of interest, what program is that?

Yes, but before every attack was defined as Physical, Special or Stat, there were Physical types (Rock, Ground, Bug, Poison, Fighting, Normal, Ghost, Flying, Steel) and Special types (Electric, Fire, Water, Ice, Grass, Psychic, Dark, Dragon).

Personally, I think you should change the names of the towns. I mean, sure, keep them based on New Zealand towns, but real-life town names don't look very.... Pokémon-ish. But that's just my opinion.

Isn't Boochu a Raichu evolution? That would bring the 'Chu line to four stages, which isn't possible.

In fact, the first two are Arcanine edits and the last one an Espeon edit (With a Growlithe muzzle).

1: The Mid-morph would be silly, as they'd have to make up to two extra sprites for every evolution line. Also, B during evolution just stops it. 2: Splicing, although 'twould be a brilliant idea, wouldn't work. That would involve a huge amount of spriting to get every possible combination.

The typical Pokémon plot - Team X wants to find Legendary Y so they can take over region Z or the world or the Universe or whatever.
